Lets not make an Arse of the day

Following Arsenal in the big matches is like following a relative visit to the toilets this morning after he'd consumed a big turkey dinner and 6 cans of Guinness. Stinks isn't the word as Arsene Wenger's men have failed to beat either Chelsea or Man Utd in 11 games and suddenly you start to realise why they have won nothing in 6 seasons. They lacked any ambition at Old Trafford and a defeat here would see them trail Man Utd by 5 points and a game more played.

I'm not convinced either that Chelsea have turned the corner. A draw against Spurs does not say their season is back on track but they too won't want to fall further behind Utd. I'm of the opinion this game is more crucial to Arsenal though. Defeat here and it is the end of the road for this team. So brilliant at times, how can their ego take another big match defeat and stay on course for a title. Drogba is the cashback and a great one at that given his record against Arsenal but the only bet I'm having is Sami Nasri to get on the scoresheet @13/5

Verdict: Sami Nasri to get on the scoresheet @13/5

Goals goals goals. Spurs have been the neutrals favs this season and the game that could prove the pick of the weekend is Aston Villa v Spurs. If there are goals as well, we can expect to see a refund with John Mulhollands with our cashback(right). Whether we reach 5 goals is one thing however but both teams has scored in this fixture in the last 5 meetings at Villa Park and at 8/11 it looks a great bet

Verdict: Both teams to score at 8/11

If you'd like a free bet on the Arsenal v Chelsea match, just go to facebook or twitter on the links at the right and either like our status update(facebook) or retweet our status(twitter)

In the other sporting events, our bet on Barneveld is looking good after a lacklustre start by Taylor. Excuses can be made for Phil as his grandchild was in intensive care 48 hours before the match and his head may not have been in the right frame of mind. 2nd in the Sports Personality Awards will have pepped up his confidence but dangers still await and I can see Paul Nicholson throwing down a big challenge to him in round 3. Look to back him with a handicap start.

Another handicap start should be taken by Connacht +4 against Munster in the Magners League as they look to pull off their annual big Irish province scalp.

Verdict: Back Paul Nicholson plus a start or 2+3 sets against Phil Taylro if they meet in the tournament

Connacht +4 at home to Munster
