The Galway Senior Football Championship resumes this weekend
at the last sixteen stage with only one game still outstanding from previous
round with the Killererin v Cortoon Shamrocks replay with Killererin expected
to have too much experience against Cortoon.
Caltra were marginal favourites to win this weekend who
should get all the benefit of Michael Meehan who has had his best inter-county
championship in 5 years. Moutbellow are struggling to score up front and is it
too much to ask young Michael Daly to come to his dad Val’s rescue here.
Bettingwise now though its a 50/50 game according to the betting
Annaghdown are missing Frank Burke through injury whilst Niall Coleman has emigrated. St Michaels have been galvanised like Cavan did once Seanie Johnstone moved to Kildare with their own transfer story and a win against Killererin could be followed up here at 8/11
